It's been a year since the launch of Justin.TV -- a site featuring "lifecasters" -- people who broadcast their lives on the internet via live video 24/7. What's your take on the "lifecasting" phenomenon? Do you find it engaging to tune into other people's lives on the web?
With the continually increasing amount of digital video cameras and broadband internet Lifecasting is only going to get bigger. Don't forget there are several new services that allow you to Lifecast right from the camera of your mobile phone. Three off the top of my head are Qik, Flixwagon, and Seesmic.
I don't regularly watch Justin.TV or other Lifecasters but I occasionally watch them. I find it most interesting when the lifecaster attends a conference or event that I myself am interested in. It's like getting a first person view of the conference when you're not able to be there.
